UKA Registration Fee
Any person from U13 upwards wishing to take part in competitions under UK Athletics (UKA) auspices (track and field; cross country; road races) needs to be registered with the governing body.  This costs £5 per year.  The club deals with all necessary administration.  The athlete will receive their competition license card and number through the post.  In road races anyone without this number isliable to pay a few pounds extra on top of their fee.

Anyone is welcome to come along on training nights and find out more.
If you are interested in the road running group it is probably best to get there about 6.45- 6.50 which allows enough time to chat before they go running promptly at 7.00.
Anyone interested in finding out more about the junior sections of the club (up to age 18) - the first visit we would ask that you aim to get there about 7.45 or so. This will allow us to show you around, explain a few points, see the groups and then you can speak to the relevant coach at the end of their session, about 8.00. We would ask people not to arrive this first time at 7.00 because all the coaches are going to be fully occupied with their own groups and may well not have the time to discuss aims and ideas with potential new members.
