Our club membership fees are charged annually. The club year runs from the 1st of January to the 31st of December so the fees are collected at the beginning of the year.
New athletes are welcome to train with us for up to 4 weeks.
Oldham & Royton Harriers operate a TRIAL MEMBERSHIP 'Try Before You Buy’ – £5.00 Valid for 30 days from first session. Athletes pays a £5 fee for a 30-day trial period before deciding whether to commit to joining the club as a full member. If the athlete upgrades to full membership at the end of the 30-day trial, the subscriptions due are then calculated pro rata of the annual fee. Please note a waiting list is in operation for many junior age-groups

Photographic and Video Policy
The Membership form includes a section about our Photographic and Video Policy. We follow the England Athletics Policy in this area.
Oldham and Royton Vests
Almost all competitions require athletes to wear their Club's official vest. Oldham and Royton's vest can be purchased at the track from a coach or club representative on any training night. They cost £17.

Annual Membership Fees 2020:
Fees are inclusive of the England Athletics Affiliation Fee except where stated (see below).
JUNIORS (UNDER 20 YEARS OF AGE) £45.00
FAMILY £60. Plus £16 EA Affiliation Fee for each athlete
STUDENTS (In full time education living away from home) £25
TRAINERS FOR OTHER SPORTS £5 per month (EA affiliation fee not included)
This category covers competitors in sports other than athletics who require the expertise of our coaches in order to improve themselves within their chosen sport. Acceptance at the Coaches discretion.
Road runners fall into the categories above.
England Athletics Affiliation
Any person from U11 upwards wishing to take part in competitions under UK Athletics (UKA) auspices (track and field; cross country; road races) needs to be registered with the governing body. The club deals with all necessary administration. The athlete will receive their competition license card and number through the post. In road races anyone without this number is liable to pay a few pounds extra on top of their entry fee.

If you are interested in the road running group you are welcome to come along on training nights and find out more , it is probably best to get there about 6.45- 6.50 which allows enough time to chat before they go running promptly at 7.00.
